Strengthening Investigative Journalism in Uganda

The Investigative Journalism Sessions at the Africa Media and Human Rights Institute are designed to equip journalists, editors, and media practitioners in Uganda with the skills and tools needed to uncover complex stories and report with depth, accuracy, and integrity. Through interactive workshops, expert-led training, and practical case studies, participants develop competencies in investigative techniques, data analysis, fact-checking, source protection, and ethical reporting. These sessions bring together emerging and experienced journalists to strengthen their ability to expose wrongdoing, hold institutions accountable, and produce impactful stories that advance transparency, justice, and good governance across Uganda.
