Our Story

We are a collective of leading journalists and associates united by a shared commitment to human rights, good governance, accountability, and social justice. The Africa Media and Human Rights Institute was founded as a dynamic platform to bring new ways of organising , engaging, exposing andspotlighting human rights violations.We champion quality, independent journalism and work to strengthen the conditions that enable the media to serve the public interest without interference or fear of retaliation. Through our work, we seek to hold power to account and challenge wrongdoing .
